I’ve finally updated my blog! Greg Newman graciously allowed me to use his Django blog application, hello!newman, available on github, for which I am very grateful… I foresee a drink or two being passed his way whenever our paths may cross.

I’m a huge advocate for Django, the python based web application framework, and have built my freelance consulting career around it and it’s related technologies. This blog wouldn’t be possible without the hard work of all the people involved with Django and it’s extensive list of reusable applications. The reusable applications used by Greg Newman and myself to build this blog include:

• django-reversion

• python-twitter
• feedparser
• django-markup
• django-tagging
• django-disqus
• django-debug-toolbar
• django-css
• django-extensions
• django-oembed
• django-syncr
• django-grappelli

As you can see, this list is extensive, and I plan on writing about each of the applications, starting with django-syncr, an awesome application that makes it extremely easy to sync 3rd party API’s.
